Appearance
Luna is four-foot-eleven-inches when she's not around three inches tall. And maybe there's some in-betweens too? So she can get plenty small, but seemingly can't get bigger. And she can't change at all when mortals are watching. But she likes being around mortals. Mortals make her smile!
I guess it doesn't take a lot to make her smile. She's just a smiley little creature. She's got this bright and girlish giggle that tumbles out of her with little provocation, like the whole world is a playground and everything is just a game. It's rare to see her sitting still – Or so you think. When she is feeling tired and cozy and like she ought to take a breather, she turns into a moth. As in, an ordinary, moth-sized moth, with the world's tiniest clown nose.
When she's not a moth-moth, and is her usual moth Fairy self, those wings of hers are props made of fae-stuff, same as her little white cotton-tail. The fuzzy mane on her neck is real fur however, as real as her yellow, springy little ears. She's got just two toes on each foot and three fingers per hand when you count the thumb.
"Imaginary" Friend
Luna tends to get along best with children, at least the ones that aren't scared of clowns or bugs. Oh, and who don't cry easy, since she's sorta bad at saying sorry. That's not to say kids are the only people she'll play with. Anyone with a sense of whimsy and a love of sweetness and brightness and laughter and saturated rainbow-y colors can be drawn to Luna, and attract her attention in turn.
Her influence is found in coloring books, in children's cartoons, in novelty songs, and the design-notes of toy makers. Most mortals can't remember the fabulous things she shows them while her sparkly fairy magic is still fresh in their eyes, they get written off as silly dreams at best, but the fun they had together never quite leaves them. It's like a glitter stain, an faint memory of a time they got to be carefree.
Cross-compatibility
Like Whisper, Luna came about with the world of Changeling: the Dreaming in mind. If you can't tell, she would be, and still can be, a Seelie Pooka. I freely adapt her to all sorts of settings, sometimes implicitly as an isekai character, that is to say, a character who has been teleported from one setting to another.
